Estimates
vary on the number of attendees
(500? 700?) but everyone agrees that
the Beer & Brats Novemberfest
was our biggest and best event
yet. We had a heck of a good
time and we hope you did to. By
the sounds of the comments we're
reading on
facebook, it sounds like you
did. A recent facebook comment
says "Wonderful event!!! I grew up
around Burlington, and I never
ever thought anything like this
would make a go of it around
here. Bravo!"
This event could not have been
the success it was without the
help of numerous contributors
who shared their time, expertise
and resources. Lets start with a
huge thanks to our local food
producers for serving up a feast
of brats, burgers and beer. And
to
Lizzy Ross and her band for
rockin' the night. And to the
many, many people behind the
scenes who helped make this
event happen.
Beer and
Brats Novemberfest
(that’s bratwurst for the uninitiated
out there) Saturday, November 7, 5pm-8pm
at the Company Shops Market Building, 268 East Front Street,
Burlington, NC
Who says
Oktoberfest is only for October?
We’re continuing the fun with
locally brewed Red Oak Beer and
homegrown Bratwurst on Nov. 7th.
2009.
This will be
our big fall event and we sure
hope you will be there. The
party starts at 5pm at the
Company Shops Market Building in
Downtown Burlington. Come on out
for delicious food from Cane
Creek Farm in Snow Camp, 9th St
Bakery in Durham, 3G Steak Sauce
in Burlington, Satisfy Your Soul
of Burlington, and Red Oak
Beer in Whitsett.
The talented
Lizzy Ross and her band will
play from 6pm to 8pm and are not
to be missed.
R.S.V.P.'s are requested but not required, so we can get a
rough idea of how many people are coming. That way we can make sure
there is plenty of food for everyone. You can R.S.V.P. on
facebook,
evite or just drop us an email.
