Community Investment Notes

The skinny (why we want you as an investor):

Why a loan to the co-op?

  • Community investment notes will assist with and complement traditional bank financing by affirming the commitment of our owners and our community.

  • Our notes will pay you up to 5%, which not only keeps the interest within our community, but reduces the amount of interest paid to finance the construction and up-fit.

  • The proceeds of your loans will remain segregated from general start-up operating funds and will not be utilized until such time that the board determines it is feasible to move forward with renovation and upfit

How can YOU help with
the financing of the construction
and upfit of our market?

A community investment note
– a loan from you to the co-op!
